WAYNETOWN - Mrs. Mary E. Hartley, 80, who formerly resided on a farm near Waynetown and before that in Crawfordsville, died late Wednesday night at the Miller Nursing Home in Russellville. She had been in failing health for several months. Born April 21, 1887, in Montgomery County, Mrs. Hartley was the daughter of Frank and Hannah Brown McCormick. She was married March 6, 1907, to Oliver Esten Hartley, who died Jan. 30, 1966. Mrs. Hartley is survived by one brother, George H. McCormick of near Ladoga, and a number of nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by a number of brothers and sisters, including Mrs. Elizabeth Alexander and Ben F. McCormick. Services for Mrs. Hartley will be conducted at 2 p.m. Saturday at the Servies Funeral Home in Waynetown in charge of Rev. John Servies. Burial will be in Waynetown Masonic Cemetery.
